The Dutch trucker Ingo van Leeuwen made very impressive pictures on the Belgian E40 highway with his dashcam. In a parking lot in Westkerke (Belgium) he passed a car truck loaded with brand-new Nissan. To his astonishment, Van Leeuwen saw that there were at least three Nissan refugees. The migrants had sneaked on to the trailer which was carrying Nissan cars, hoping to reach Calais and climb aboard a ferry to Britain. But they realised the vehicle was heading north-east towards the Netherlands rather than south-west towards French ports, and waved to passing cars in a bid to get out. Dutch media reported there were further refugees hiding in the other cars on the trailer. "I regularly see crazy things on the street, but that's very bizarre. I felt comfortable at the wheel to look at the new cars when suddenly one of the doors opened and a man started to wave. I was shocked who would expect such a thing", says the trucker. The Belgian judiciary knows the new phenomenon. It is apparently a new way for illegals to hide in new cars to reach the crossing to Britain. Whether this will succeed, remains the question, because the cars are of course also tested.
